Deedee visits Pear Tree Spring Primary School

Deedee, along with Hayley and Peter from the 1decision team, recently visited Pear Tree Spring Primary School in Stevenage to deliver our new ‘Fire Service’ module.
The children got to watch our ‘Hoax Calling’ video and the ‘Enya and Deedee Visit the Fire Station’ documentary.
The new ‘Fire Service’ module, which launches on the 11th November 2015, will be rolled out across all schools in Hertfordshire, with the intention of it becoming a national programme.
Hear what the children had to say about this new exciting module…
“I enjoyed watching the videos. I liked watching the hoax video because at first I agreed that it would be funny to call 999 but then I discovered what might happen if I chose to do that.” – George F, age 9.
“I thought that the assembly was very useful. It helped me to understand what to do if I see a fire and how to prevent them. The videos were enjoyable and useful.” – Amber, age 9.
“I learned that we should Stop, Drop and Roll if our clothing catches fire. It is very useful information and could save us in the future. I might like to be a fire fighter when I grow up.” – Elliot, age 9.
“I now know what to do if there is a fire in my house. I liked watching the characters explore the fire station. That video was full of useful tips such as Stop, Drop and Roll.” – Sophie, age 9.
